Eghterdar Sadeghpour, MD
Eghtedar Sadeghpour is board certified in orthopaedic surgery with added qualifications in surgery of the hand. He is a graduate of Isfahan Medical School, Isfahan Iran in 1969. He had his internship and general surgery residency at Prince George's General Hospital in Cheverley, Maryland from 1972 to 1974. His orthopaedic residency and hand surgery fellowship at National Hospital for Orthopaedic Surgery in Arlington, Virginia from 1974 to 1978. His professional journey continued along to Louisiana State University from 1978 till 1981, where he was clinical instructor in Orthopaedic Surgery at the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery. He was the Chief of the Department of Orthopaedics at Memorial City Medical Center from 1987 and 1990.
He has been in private practice in Houston since 1981. Dr. Sadeghpour is a fellow in the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, a member of the Harris County Medical Society, Texas Orthopaedic Society, Houston Orthopaedic Society and Iranian-American Medical Association.
Dr. Sadeghpour's wife is also a physician and practices Pediatric Endocrinology at the Baylor College of Medicine. Dr. Sadeghpour has two sons, Sasan who is in finance, and Sohale is a physician, and is planning to become an orthopaedic surgeon.
