Cervical pain refers to pain stemming from the neck area and can include headaches, tightness of the upper back, and sore muscles. There are many causes or cervical pain, including aging, accidents and injuries, problems stemming from everyday life such as obesity and poor posture, stress, and disease. The neck area is very susceptible to pain caused by pinched nerves, strains, sprains and injuries.
