Comments: I haven't been to the ER for at least twenty years, but had to make three trips in the last year... once for an allergic reaction to an insect bite, once for a horrible stomach flu, and once for a possibly broken foot on the weekend. Each time, I went to AOK ER, even though there are other ERs slightly closer to my home. I never had to wait more than 2-4 minutes to be admitted, and the staff was incredibly professional and courteous at all times. I was seen by a doctor right away, and received excellent care. They gave me warm blankets, I had my own TV in my private room, and when I was there for my injured foot they offered me coffee, tea, or soft drinks (couldn't have those when I had the bite and the stomach bug). Each time, I left feeling much better and 100% reassured.
